DAP Art Studio

UP Copper Jewelry

Nestled just two doors down from the DAP Gallery, DAP Art Studios offer a unique creative space in the heart of downtown Ironwood. Housed within a historic 100-year-old building, our studios boast over 16 talented artists, each bringing their own distinctive flair to their craft. You’ll meet a copper jewelry artist, a potter, a writer, photographer, basket weaver, origami artist, watercolor artist and more!

Visitors are in for a treat as they explore our studios, featuring original woodwork and charming old-fashioned tile. While appointments are preferred, our doors are also open year-round for First Fridays, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant artistic community of Ironwood.

Step into UP Copper Jewelry at DAP Art Studios and embark on a journey through time with our “White Pine Mine Heritage Collection” – a true homage to the legacy of the White Pine Miners. Our jewelry designs are more than adornments; they emphasize the profound historical significance of the materials they’re crafted from.

Immerse yourself in the rich history and heritage of the White Pine Mine as we showcase artifacts collected from miners and share captivating stories and memorabilia from that era. Visitors are invited to explore these treasures alongside our jewelry pieces, enhancing the studio’s ambiance with a special connection to the past.

Our studio is adorned with black and white images of miners, mining equipment, and the mine itself, creating a visual tapestry that pays homage to our area’s rich mining history. Specially designed earring and jewelry cards feature images of the White Pine Mine and its artifacts, serving as cherished souvenirs with brief historical insights.

A dedicated display area showcases our copper pieces, each sourced directly from the White Pine Mine, inviting you to “Discover the White Pine Legacy” through “Unearthed Treasures from White Pine Mine.” Our wall art pieces are more than decorations; they’re symbols of our commitment to preserving history in copper and offering wearable tributes to White Pine’s enduring legacy.
